What Drum Kit does with your data
Drum Kit is a drum pad app. Everything you play and record stays on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and we never receive your recordings.
Recordings and exports
A take you record is kept in the app's own storage on your device. When you export it as MP3 or MIDI, the file is written to the location you pick or handed to the share sheet. Nothing is uploaded to us.
What the app sends to our server
The app reports two things to apps.mobilefunk.nl: that it was opened, once per installation, and a Pro purchase. Each report carries the app version, the platform (Android or iOS) and an identifier that is unique to this app on your device (on Android the app-scoped Android ID, on iOS the vendor identifier). This identifier is not linked to your name, email or any other personal data, and we use it only to count installations and purchases.
Our server keeps standard access logs, including your IP address, for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
Ads
The free version shows ads. Some come from Google AdMob, which may use the advertising ID of your device as described in Google's privacy policy. Others are our own banners for Mobilefunk apps, served from apps.mobilefunk.nl; those only appear in the server logs mentioned above. The Pro purchase removes all ads.
Purchases
Drum Kit Pro is a one-time purchase handled by Google Play or the App Store. We receive a confirmation of the purchase but never your payment details.
Connecting to playdrumsonline.com
The Remote feature lets you play playdrumsonline.com from your phone. When you enter a room code, the app connects to our relay server (multi.mobilefunk.nl) and, where possible, directly to the browser on the other end using WebRTC. Only the room code and the drum hits you play are transmitted. A direct connection may expose your IP address to the other device in the room, and the connection setup uses a public STUN server operated by Google. Nothing is stored after the session ends.
Links and reviews
Links in the app open in your browser or the app store. The app may ask you to rate it through the store's own review dialog; we do not see what you answer.
Retention and your rights
Install and purchase records are kept for as long as the app is offered, to count usage and to honour Pro purchases. Under the GDPR you may ask us to show or delete the records tied to your device identifier; mention the app and, if you know it, the identifier. We do not sell data and do not share it with anyone other than the services named here.
Children
Drum Kit is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
